Thanks again for taking the time to work with Johanna yesterday. She is VERY motivated and I promise you it is all her with the asking for help, etc. She admitted to me yesterday that the other night after I tucked her in she got back out of bed and practiced her blocks. She has been practicing morning and night and this morning said that she wished tkd could be all day like school and that school was only a class in the afternoon like tkd is. I think she loves tkd more than she loves me:) - Tina H., mother of Johanna
I have seen a toddler grow into a little boy this last year and much of that has to do with the discipline he has learned at TKD. I am so very proud of his achievement and was so disappointed to have missed his testing today. What makes it extra special is that I know your integrity would not have allowed you to pass him if he was not up to standard and to be honest that integrity and high standard is what sets Lakeway TKD aside and way above the other martial arts schools in Austin.
Well thank you both once again, it was a pleasure knowing you and a privilege to have had Kyden taught by you. He can be a little worm at times, I guess it goes with the age, but he has the utmost respect and fondness for his TKD instructors and you have been superb role models for him.

Namaste Mr. Chris,
We are so happy with the classes and the positive effects they are having on the twins. It is rare to find instructors that have a high level of skill in their Art AND the ability to teach their Art to young children. You and Master Amir are wonderfully patient and positive with the kids, while still conveying the discipline and respect that the Art demands. We appreciate all your hard work.

Chris, Truc Chi & Master Amir,
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication in teaching and training Dominic these past two years. I never suspected he would grow so strong in the art of TaeKwonDo, I am truly amazed. This past weekend I saw a side of him that made me very proud. Chris, you were able to speak to him and get through. He needed to reach deep down and give his all. He had to have heart, and he did!
That was such a nerve wrenching but awesome tournament

Ken received a Chivalry Award at a surprise ceremony this afternoon at the Lake Travis Middle School. Only a few students who demonstrated exemplary character were chosen and recommended by their teachers. I would like to share this with you because I know that Tae Kwon Do has helped in his character building and discipline. Thank you!
Marie, mother of Ken (13)
Before class yesterday I told West that he had been disrespectful to you on
Tuesday. He promised to listen and do his best this time. He kept his
promise, and I was proud of him.
After observing your first class, I eagerly enrolled West, because I
believed you are type of teacher and role model I want him to observe and
learn from. You handle all your kids with discipline, kindness and
patience. The way you have been with West has been wonderful. He was as
excited about getting a yellow belt as I have ever seen him. He wanted to
go back to class today! (Who knows how long it will take him to want to
wear the uniform?) I am confident that he is learning far more than kicks
and punches from you. You and Truc make a great team. I thank both of you
for being there for West.
Glenn, father of West (4) and Ally (6)
I wanted to say Thank you for holding the self defense class on Saturday. Morgan and I had a really good time and I felt that we learned some very helpful tools to protect ourselves. Hopefully we will never need them, but it is nice to know that we are a little bit more prepared. Both Morgan and Michael had a great time at the Movie night. They are already asking if they can go to the next one.
I do have to say that I feel very fortunate that we found you guys!! I think that you and Truc Chi are extremely wonderful people and that you both (as well as Master Amir) are positive role models in the kids lives. I just wanted to let you know how much I admire you both and how much I appreciate all that you do for these kids.
